Job summary

STAR INTERNATIONAL HOLDINGS is seeking a seasoned Compliance & Testing Leader to oversee product compliance and testing activities across domestic and international markets. You will drive certification programs, supervise lab testing, and collaborate across Engineering, Quality, Operations, and suppliers.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years in compliance, testing, or related engineering roles.

Qualifications

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Hands-on experience with testing equipment and data acquisition systems (e.g., LabVIEW or similar).

Responsibilities

Lead compliance efforts for new and existing products to meet regulatory and safety standards.
Manage product certifications (UL, ETL, CSA, CE, UKCA, IEC, FCC, etc.).
Act as the primary contact with certification agencies, test labs, and regulatory authorities.
Interpret and apply standards related to electrical, mechanical, EMC, energy, and environmental requirements.
Coordinate compliance testing, including sample prep, documentation, and corrective actions.
Prepare units for testing based on engineering requirements.
