Booking Holdings, a global leader in online travel, seeks a Senior Legal Counsel for Global Compliance & Ethics. This role drives risk assessments, policy development, and training across the Booking Holdings brands. You will partner with stakeholders worldwide, provide practical legal guidance, and leverage AI to advance the compliance program.

Requires a J.D. or equivalent and 5+ years of relevant experience, with strong communication and project management skills.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree required and 5+ years of relevant legal or compliance experience.
• Subject matter expertise in core compliance areas including anti-bribery, conflicts of interest, gifts and entertainment, and third-party risk management.
• Excellent communication and ability to translate complex requirements into practical guidance.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual Legal & Compliance risk assessment across all Booking Holdings brands.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process improvements based on risk results.
• Provide practical guidance to ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable laws.
• Leverage AI and new technologies to drive innovation in the compliance program.
• Develop, implement, and update policies, procedures, and training materials.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and diverse audiences.
