Job summary

Goldman Sachs in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Project Coordinator to organize all aspects of project execution, from simple tasks to complex implementations, aligning resources, timelines and budgets with project goals.

You will collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines, maintain documentation, assess risks, and ensure high quality while following Sarbanes-Oxley controls across global programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Accounting or Finance preferred.
• 3+ years of experience with an ERP implementation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project implementation activities, resources, equipment, and information.
• Ensure sound operational controls are maintained and followed in compliance with governance.
• Perform and maintain support documentation in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley legislation.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities.
• Perform testing of system enhancements and liaise with the technology support team.
• Reconcile data between HCM and Compensation Accounting applications.
• Break projects into logical phases and set timeframes.
• Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management.
• Make sure that clients' needs are met as projects evolve.
• Help manage project budgets while analyzing risks and opportunities.
• Oversee project procurement and shipping.
• Monitor project progress and handle escalations as appropriate.
• Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
• Work with the Project Manager to eliminate blockers and monitor working hours, plans and expenditures.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports.
