Job summary

WP Engine is seeking a Principal Global Compensation Manager to lead the company’s global cash, bonus, and equity strategies, ensuring pay programs align with business objectives and market trends.

You will act as a senior advisor on compensation design, governance, and equity modeling for a distributed workforce, using Workday Advanced Compensation and modern AI-enabled workflows to scale and optimize programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive compensation experience within high-tech/SaaS
• Hands-on Workday Advanced Compensation configuration
• Deep knowledge of global compensation structures and regulatory environments
• Master-level compensation modeling, data analysis, and financial planning

Responsibilities

• Lead global cash, bonus, and equity compensation strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Champion global pay transparency readiness including EU/US requirements.
• Oversee annual merit, promotion, and equity refresh cycles with finance alignment.
• Support executive compensation design and equity modeling with senior leaders.
• Develop and evolve global job architecture, leveling, and geographic salary structures.
• Advise EE Business Partners and senior leaders on compensation decisions and talent retention.
• Drive due diligence and integration strategies for M&A activity.
