Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Total Compensation Accountant to join its Global Compensation Accounting team. You will reconcile payroll-related balance sheet and P&L accounts, ensure accurate reporting, and support cross-functional areas across regions in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3+ years in accounting, CPA preferred, and familiarity with Workday or Oracle ERP systems. Strong problem solving and collaboration are essential for success in this high-growth company.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and CPA preferred.
• Public accounting experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Experience using AI tools to automate processes and drive efficiency gains.

Responsibilities

• Perform month and quarter end close activities with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Support global Payroll Operations, Equity Administration, and Benefits teams with accounting knowledge.
• Conduct ad-hoc reporting and special projects as requested.
• Collaborate with Finance, Legal and Talent to ensure accurate financial statements.
• Ensure SOX compliance and GAAP reporting accuracy.
