Job summary

The Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau is seeking an International Communications Specialist to advance PHLCVB’s global storytelling from our Corporate Office in Philadelphia. You will produce market-specific content, coordinate media engagement, and drive international projects in line with our communications strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• 3–5 years in communications, public relations, media relations, or related field; tourism/international experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute international communications initiatives for assigned markets.
• Develop market-specific content to support media outreach and campaigns.
• Support execution of international communications plans.
• Schedule and support international media familiarization tours, including logistics.
• Assist with international media requests and materials.
• Support visiting media, influencers, and partners as needed.
• Collaborate with international PR representation agencies and internal teams.
• Provide content for market newsletters, social media, and promotions.
• Maintain timelines and communicate with agencies and partners.
