Job summary

Roush in Livonia, MI is seeking a Commodity Manager II to lead global sourcing, negotiate strategic supplier contracts, and develop cost reduction strategies across multiple commodities. This role focuses on driving cost, quality, delivery, and launch performance while coordinating with stakeholders worldwide.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in commodity management, strong negotiation skills, and a solid understanding of cost modeling.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience managing the responsible commodities.
Demonstrated negotiation skills and supplier assessment experience.

Responsibilities

Lead current production cost reduction & new program sourcing globally for the commodities.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies and plans to optimize total supplier performance (cost, quality, delivery, and launch).
Lead, manage and execute all data collection, validation, analysis, and negotiation activities for the commodities.
Manage overall relationship for strategic suppliers.
Communicate commodity agreements and strategies to the business globally.
