Job summary

WPP Media is seeking a Commercial Manager to drive the commercial success of multi-million-dollar international contracts. You will manage negotiations, build strong client relationships, and contribute to revenue growth while ensuring contract compliance and profitability.

You will handle a portfolio of clients and collaborate with Commercial Directors on complex negotiations, gaining valuable experience in international commercial management and financial analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or professional accounting qualification or equivalent practical experience in Commercial, Accounting, Finance, International Business, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial-related fields, client finance, media, or business affairs.
• Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying contract terms in a client-facing role would be an advantage.
• Strong financial acumen including analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to navigate challenging conversations e.g., with client procurement.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with ownership over assignments.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Strong time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage accurate and timely client and internal reporting, including revenue, profitability, and contract compliance.
• Analyze financial performance, identify opportunities for optimization, and provide insightful reporting to key internal stakeholders.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, proactively manage client communication, and ensure alignment with Agency objectives.
• Develop and present compelling commercial proposals that meet client needs and drive revenue growth.
