Job summary

Evolv Technologies Inc. seeks a Sr. Director, Associate General Counsel, Commercial Lead to build and scale Evolv’s global commercial legal function.

This role reports to the General Counsel and partners with GTM leadership to streamline deal execution, support channel programs, and drive a scalable contracting engine. The role requires a seasoned negotiator with a track record of closing complex enterprise and channel deals, and a hands-on leader who can develop processes, policies, and tools

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house with enterprise SaaS or AI-enabled tech.
• Extensive experience negotiating complex B2B sales and channel contracts; public sector exposure a plus.
• Proven ability to scale and lead a legal team with focus on talent development.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small, high-performing commercial legal team; govern enterprise and partner transactions globally.
• Design and automate scalable contracting frameworks, playbooks, templates, and processes.
• Negotiate complex contracts and oversee public sector/education contracting with outside counsel; support direct, channel, and distribution agreements.
