Job summary

Australia-Employment is seeking a skilled CNC Service Technician to install, commission, and service advanced CNC machining equipment in Detroit, MI. You will diagnose issues, optimize performance, and ensure high customer satisfaction through hands-on support and training.

As a field service engineer, you will travel to multiple locations, including international sites, to install upgrades, perform retrofits, and bring machines online to OEM specifications.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills related to CNC equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Self directed, customer focused, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain CNC machining systems across multiple locations.
• Install new machines, upgrades, and bring equipment online to specification.
• Train customers on proper operation and maintenance.
• Verify equipment performance meets OEM standards.
• Document service activities and communicate with service teams.
• Travel extensively, including international destinations, to support customers.
