Subway Headquarters is seeking a Cloud Engineer - Network (AWS & Azure) to design, deploy, and manage cloud and on-premises network infrastructure. You will architect cloud networking components, oversee SD-WAN, manage routing, and ensure secure connectivity across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology field.
• 5+ years of hands-on network engineering in an enterprise.
• 8+ years of Windows system administration.
• 3+ years configuring BGP/OSPF in hybrid cloud/on-prem environments.
• 3+ years managing firewalls, VPNs, and network security controls.
• Experience with Terraform for IaC in cloud/network infra.
• Experience applying AI/ML tools to network ops and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy cloud networking solutions (VPCs, VNets, Transit Gateways).
• Manage and optimize SD-WAN across global locations.
• Configure routing protocols (BGP/OSPF) across on‑premises and cloud.
• Administer firewall policies, VPN tunnels, and network access controls.
• Monitor performance, capacity, and incidents; implement improvements.
• Maintain DNS and IPAM platforms; document standards/runbooks.
• Develop network documentation and runbooks; drive automation.
• Mentor staff on network technologies and best practices.
• Collaborate with Architecture and Security to set standards.
