Job summary

Skechers is seeking a Senior Director of Infrastructure and Cloud Engineering to lead global infrastructure and cloud engineering. You will modernize, scale, and automate our platforms, driving reliability, security, and cost efficiency across multiple cloud environments.

The role requires extensive leadership experience, deep cloud expertise, and the ability to build high-performing teams in a global, matrixed organization.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive cloud, infrastructure, or related technology experience.
• Minimum 5 years at the Director level within a global, matrixed organization.
• Proven track record leading modernization, cloud transformation, and reliability initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle; multi-cloud/hybrid architecture.
• Strong IaC, automation, configuration management, and CI/CD knowledge.
• Influence across cross-functional teams and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise infrastructure and cloud engineering strategy and execution.
• Own multi-cloud strategy across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Oracle for scalable platforms.
• Drive modernization, migration, and automation to improve reliability and cost efficiency.
• Design and optimize cloud-native, hybrid-cloud, and enterprise architectures (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
• Establish governance, roadmaps, patterns, and operating models for global enterprise.
• Champion SRE practices, incident management, capacity planning, and observability.
• Oversee IaC, configuration management, and CI/CD practices to reduce risk.
• Partner with Cybersecurity on Zero Trust, IAM, and compliance alignment.
• Lead FinOps, cost governance, budgeting, and KPI reporting across infra and cloud services.
• Develop talent, succession planning, and leadership across infra and cloud teams.
• Advise executives on infrastructure investment, modernization, and strategy.
• Represent Infra and Cloud Engineering in governance forums and architecture reviews.
• Ensure SOX, PCI-DSS, GDPR compliance and related controls.
