Job summary

Merck & Co. is seeking an experienced Clinical Trial Operations leader to drive strategy, planning and execution for one or more trials. You will coach teams and coordinate with study teams, vendors, and international partners to ensure milestones are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years pharma/clinical drug development experience or
• Master's with 6+ years experience or PhD/PharmD with 2+ years in pharma/clinical drug development
• Degree in life sciences preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute and oversee clinical trials operationally
• Serve as Clinical Trial Team (CTT) lead and coordinate cross-functional work
• Lead study planning, reviews, escalations, and governance meetings
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to meet trial objectives
• Manage vendor relationships and partner communications
• Review clinical documents for protocol input and quality
• Mentor junior team members and manage resource development
