Job summary

CSL seeks a senior clinical development leader for a hybrid on-site role in Waltham, MA. You will drive strategy and execution for preclinical assets, act as the clinical expert across cross-functional teams, and ensure alignment with regulatory standards.

You will author and maintain CDPs, participate in Stage Gate reviews, and present findings to management. Requires MD/PhD/PharmD and 3+ years of leadership in pharma/biotech.

Qualifications

• MD, PhD or PharmD in life sciences/healthcare required.
• Board Certification (US or equivalent) preferred.
• Extensive clinical development pharmaceutical/biotech experience with regulatory knowledge.
• 3+ years of clinical development experience in pharma/clinical study environments.
• Demonstrated program leadership in a matrix environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and risk mitigation skills.
• Proven analytical thinking and medical writing abilities.
• Proficient in clinical data analysis and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical representative on due diligence teams evaluating external assets and deliver CDPs, slides and clinical input.
• Develop high-level target product profiles for pre-clinical internal assets with cross-functional teams.
• Lead development and presentation of CDPs at Stage Gate meetings.
• Provide CDT leadership and ensure alignment with PST and TALT.
• Maintain Clinical Development Plans in line with program strategy.
• Drive decision-making within CDT and coordinate with key committees.
