Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Senior Director of Clinical Operations to oversee global Phase I–IV trials in metabolic liver disease. You will ensure programs are delivered on time, within budget, and in regulatory compliance, leading cross-functional teams across development and regulatory functions.

The role emphasizes trial design input, vendor oversight, and operational excellence in a fast-growing biotech, with global stakeholder engagement and financial stewardship as core duties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MS, PharmD, PhD) preferred.
• 15+ years of clinical trial operations experience, including management of Phase I-IV studies.
• Experience with first-in-human studies and metabolic or cardiovascular therapeutic areas is desirable.
• Leadership, global trial expertise, regulatory knowledge (ICH-GCP, FDA, EMA), vendor oversight, and strong project management.
• Global stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and operational strategy development.

Responsibilities

• Strategic planning and trial execution from start-up to closeout.
• CRO/vendor oversight, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Development, Regulatory, Data Management, and other teams.
