Qualifications

• MD with 10+ years pharmaceutical development experience, 5+ years in senior management.
• Proven drug development experience and results within biotech/pharmaceuticals.
• Expertise in clinical trial design, conduct, analysis and interpretation of data.
• Experience building and mentoring clinical development teams in industry.
• Strong line management and cross-functional collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for performance against trial metrics and development strategy.
• Leads or directs changes to scale clinical development across assets and indications.
• Sets goals and evaluates performance; supports leadership development plans.
• Responsible for departmental budgets and resourcing strategy.
• Builds a quality-focused clinical infrastructure and implements corrective actions.
• Develop SOPs to ensure regulatory compliance across trials.
• Ensures inspection readiness of active and completed studies.
• Sets outsourcing strategy and vendor oversight with interdepartmental teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen trial design and regulatory pathways.
• Participate in governance bodies and communicate program value to KOLs.
