Job summary

Kyocera-AVX is seeking a Claims Analyst to serve as a liaison between the Corporate Insurance Department and global locations, ensuring timely processing of insurance claims including workers’ compensation, property, auto, and cargo. You will coordinate with HR, EHS, and Facility Managers on claim details.

Responsibilities include reviewing first notices of loss, gathering documentation, analyzing claim data, and preparing reports.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Accounting/Business Administration/Legal Studies (MBA a plus).
• Minimum of 2 years of insurance/claims handling experience, preferably workers’ compensation.
• Strong analytical skills with heightened problem-solving ability.
• Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail oriented with ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates accident/loss reports and compiles facts from documents.
• Advises and assists departments in investigating claims, including witness interviews.
• Documents conversations and reports; prepares summaries of medical and legal documents.
• Manages carrier claims relationship and coordinates with lawyers on litigation.
• Trains staff on claims processing procedures, including workers’ compensation.
