Job summary

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, or Management is required.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting or risk/financial analysis experience.
• Strong math and analytical skills with problem-solving ability.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• High-energy, adaptable, able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to design/develop tools and reuse existing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Control daily cash entry and ensure cash is recorded to customer accounts.
• Reconcile cash received against cash applied.
• Supervise two Cash Application Specialists.
• Analyze, research, and resolve cash application discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal departments and customers to address issues.
• Compile/global risk exposure data (sales, payrolls, property values, etc.).
• Work with departments to allocate risk costs appropriately.
• Prepare reports, data mining, and root cause analyses.
• Review and release incoming orders/shipments for accounts.
• Reconcile and collect on assigned accounts.
• Prepare monthly reports as needed.
