Bechtel Global Logistics (BGL) in Houston, TX seeks a Chartering Operations Specialist to manage marine chartering and logistics for projects across the Americas and beyond. You will ensure safe, timely, and economical delivery, monitor KPI performance, and develop BI reports to support project decisions.

Responsibilities include reviewing carrier statements, budgeting support, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to align schedules with Bechtel policies.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field with 1–2 years experience, or 5–6 years’ alternate experience.
• Experience in project logistics execution preferred.
• Knowledge of marine cargo chartering and maritime operations.

Responsabilités

• Perform chartering operations for domestic and international shipments to meet project needs.
• Review service provider statements and documents, note discrepancies and act per Bechtel policy.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasts, cost trends, and logistics procurement plans.
• Support FEED/EPC feasibility studies and development of the project logistics plan.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project demands.
• Enter shipment tracking data into the TMS for visibility and reporting.
• Ensure safety requirements are integrated into logistics activities.
