TJX Companies is seeking a Category Manager in Marlborough, MA to drive sourcing events, strategy, and supplier negotiations within the Global Sourcing and Procurement function. You will partner with multiple retail operations teams, including Loss Prevention, Supplies, and Supply Chain, to optimize spend and deliver value.

The role requires strong procurement knowledge, data analysis, and stakeholder management, with leadership potential and experience in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Business or related field.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement.
• Retail industry knowledge: loss prevention, fixtures, and ticketing.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with procurement/sourcing systems and Microsoft Suite.
• Preference: 5+ years strategic sourcing; 1+ year managerial experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Category Managers in regional/global sourcing events and strategies.
• Lead cross-functional teams in executing Strategic Sourcing initiatives and category strategies.
• Develop negotiation strategies and conduct negotiations.
• Monitor category savings and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Business Partners to ensure high-quality service and vendor relationships.
