Job summary

National Grid, based in the US, seeks a US MRO, Logistics & Investment Recovery Category Manager in a hybrid role. You will develop and implement category strategies across US and UK, leading a cross-regional team and delivering value, resilience, and sustainability.

You will own category plans, manage spend and supplier relationships, driving standardization and governance across MRO, Logistics and Investment Recovery.

Qualifications

• Significant procurement experience with category strategies and complex sourcing portfolios.
• Experience leading cross-regional teams and stakeholder engagement across US/UK contexts.
• Strong ability to translate spend data into actionable category decisions.
• Understanding of MRO, Logistics and Investment Recovery domains is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own development and refresh of category strategies across US/UK MRO, Logistics and Investment Recovery.
• Build plans reflecting regional needs while enabling cross-regional aggregation and standardization.
• Define scope, demand, supplier dynamics and roadmaps using spend and market data.
• Lead sourcing delivery with governance, contracts, and supplier performance management.
