Job summary

Chubb is seeking a Claims Adjuster to proactively manage a high-volume casualty claims portfolio, including multinational accounts. You will apply legal, factual, and coverage analysis to resolve matters efficiently while maintaining excellent client service and regulatory compliance.

Role requires independent adjuster license or ability to obtain within 6 months, JD preferred, and proven experience in casualty claims. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Independent adjuster license or ability to obtain it within 6 months of employment.
• Juris Doctor preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast moving and challenging environment.
• Strong understanding of insurance principles, claims processes, and relevant legislation.
• Ability to manage multiple complex cases and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of casualty claims, emphasizing Bodily Injury and Property Damage matters.
• Develop and implement effective claims strategies based on legal, factual, and coverage analysis.
• Deliver exceptional client service with proactive communication to insureds, brokers, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with local adjusters and international partners for multinational claims.
• Evaluate liability, damages, and exposure; establish reserves per guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Negotiate settlements within delegated authority for favorable outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and SLAs with timely documentation and file quality.
• Identify coverage issues, emerging risks, and potential subrogation opportunities; escalate as needed.
