Job summary

Qualifications

• Understanding CPT and OPT processes
• Ability to build trust with diverse students
• Experience developing and facilitating career workshops and programs
• Familiarity with Handshake, LinkedIn, and PeopleGrove platforms

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic career guidance to international students, including resumes, interviewing, networking, and job search strategies
• Share resources on U.S. and international employment pathways and CPT/OPT information
• Assist with career development resources and identifying internships and industry opportunities
• Research labor market trends and employer hiring practices relevant to international students
• Support career workshops, panels, employer engagement, and networking programs with Career Center staff
• Collaborate with the Office for International Services to coordinate student services
• Assist with engagement documentation and event coordination for Career Center activities
