Job summary

Starlink seeks a Sr. Global Supply Manager to support construction and facility projects. You will develop contract management processes, lead procurement for equipment and services, and manage supplier relations to optimize cost, delivery, and quality.

You will interact with internal stakeholders, negotiate contracts, and present value propositions for strategic sourcing initiatives. This role requires onsite work in Bastrop, TX and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 9+ years of experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, operations or supply chain management, master production scheduling, construction, facilities, or industrial plant management.
• Bachelor’s degree with 11+ years of experience in the same areas or 15+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive contract management process for successful project execution.
• Develop and execute equipment & services procurement strategies focused on construction projects.
• Perform market analysis to determine should-costs and secure best deals for equipment and services.
• Create and negotiate contract documents with legal.
• Track spend, assess budget risk, and provide budget analyses for decisions.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure contract adherence and issue resolution.
• Lead proposals to fulfill category requirements and drive cost reduction.
