Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced degree and 9+ years of experience or bachelor’s degree and 11+ years, or 15+ years in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, operations or supply chain management, master production scheduling, construction/facilities/industrial plant management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive contract management process for construction projects.
• Develop and execute equipment and services procurement strategies for construction projects.
• Perform market analysis to determine should-costs and best purchasing deals.
• Create and negotiate contract documents with legal department.
• Track spend, assess budgetary risk and provide budget analysis for decisions.
• Manage vendor relationships with clear communication and contract adherence.
• Present value propositions to management, including cost reduction strategies.
• Identify and execute cost reduction projects with stakeholders and timelines.
• Perform quantitative and business analyses to assess financial impacts and performance.
• Develop programs to monitor KPIs of the supply base.
• Lead RFP processes to fulfill category requirements.
• Place purchase orders and resolve blocked invoices.
• Lead efforts to reduce the number of transactions.
