Job summary

Pizza Hut is seeking an experienced Indirect Category Manager - CAPEX to shape and execute our global procurement strategy across restaurant capital categories, including equipment, FF&E, and related development spend for new builds, remodels, and upgrades.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of supply chain/procurement experience in asset-intensive environments.
• 5+ years in global/regional category management for CAPEX/FF&E.
• Ability to develop category strategies and multi-country sourcing events.
• Strong financial acumen including TCO, cost modeling and value tracking.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute global CAPEX category strategies across kitchen equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, FF&E, and related development spend.
• Build and manage a multi-year category value pipeline identifying opportunities for cost savings and improved lead times.
• Lead complex multi-country sourcing events and supplier negotiations using strategic sourcing and should-cost methodologies.
• Develop and manage strategic supplier relationships including performance management and continuity planning.
• Identify and develop new global supply sources to strengthen competition and resilience.
• Partner with Development, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Sustainability, and franchisees to harmonize specs and drive value engineering.
• Reduce lifecycle costs without compromising safety or quality.
• Monitor global market dynamics, input costs, logistics trends, and geopolitical risks to inform strategy.
• Develop data-driven business cases and category dashboards to track value and supplier performance.
• Establish category governance and risk controls to ensure compliance with policies and contracts.
• Lead through influence across franchisees, regional teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to drive adoption of sourcing strategies.
• Champion innovation and sustainability across the global CAPEX supply base.
