Job summary

Astera Labs in San Jose seeks a Global Supply Manager to own capacity planning across the supply chain. You will translate data from multiple sources into scalable reporting, forecasting, and decision-support tools to enable proactive planning.

You will build capacity models, run multi-scenario analyses for ramps and demand variability, and partner with engineering, operations, procurement and finance to accelerate product delivery in a high-growth semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in capacity planning, supply chain analytics, business intelligence, data engineering, or a related role within semiconductor, electronics, or advanced manufacturing.
• Hands‑on experience with data engineering, including data transformation, pipeline development, ETL workflows, and structuring large datasets.
• Proficiency in Power BI (or equivalent) for dashboard development, reporting, and data visualization.
• Experience working with Databricks, Oracle, or similar database/cloud data platforms.
• Experience setting up and maintaining API-based data connections for automated data ingestion.
• Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration into reporting platforms.
• Advanced Excel skills, including building maintainable, business‑friendly files for end‑user updates.
• Demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, operations, procurement, and finance teams.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and scenario planning skills with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Capacity Planning & Scenario Modeling: Own and continuously improve capacity planning processes, models, and reporting infrastructure across product lines and manufacturing partners.
• Translate demand forecasts and SIOP outputs into resource-constrained production plans, considering supplier lead times, yield, equipment, and labor constraints.
• Design and execute multi-scenario capacity models and provide data-driven recommendations with clear trade-offs.
• Develop and maintain an 18-month rolling capacity forecast with Supply Planning and Business Units.
• Identify bottlenecks and lead cross-functional initiatives to resolve constraints.
