Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, part of Danaher, seeks a Process Leader for Global Manufacturing Capacity to translate product demand into global capacity requirements. You will work hands-on with floor operations, engineering, and supply chain to build robust models and drive investment priorities.

The role requires 9+ years in capacity planning or related fields, strong industrial engineering skills, and experience with S&OP/IBP and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Must have strong background in industrial engineering methods applied to complex manufacturing.
• Experience building capacity models for multi-step processes and systems.
• Ability to translate technical inputs into robust capacity assumptions.
• Experience with S&OP, IBP and long-range capacity planning is preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP/planning systems like Oracle, SAP, Kinaxis, Anaplan is required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end capacity models for complex manufacturing lines with multiple steps and constraints.
• Partner with manufacturing engineers, operations leaders, maintenance, quality, and site teams on line design and process flow.
• Lead capacity reviews at line, site, supplier, and global-network levels with data-driven decision support.
• Translate demand forecasts and growth scenarios into equipment, labor, and capacity requirements.
• Perform what-if analyses to evaluate changes in demand, yield, uptime, and capital investments.
• Identify capacity gaps early and define mitigation plans with owners and timelines.
• Support capital and network decisions with clear evidence and risk analysis.
• Develop repeatable capacity-planning methods and governance across product lines and sites globally.
• Communicate capacity conclusions to engineering specialists and senior leaders.
