Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a capable FAB Engineer 3–5 to lead capacity loading plans and data-driven decision support. You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize capital planning and provide analytics that influence technology ramp strategies.

The role emphasizes scenarios, automation, and continuous improvement in a high-volume semiconductor environment with strong emphasis on data integrity and forecasting accuracy. Relocation TBD, benefits included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant engineering.
• Experience in forecasting resource needs, long-term planning, process engineering, production operations, or a related analytical function.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data validation skills with ability to translate data into insights.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Power BI, and other data analysis or reporting tools.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills across functions and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize capacity loading plans to achieve business targets and techno ramp requirements.
• Perform capacity, scenario, and conversion cost evaluations to compare options.
• Collaborate with multi-functional partners and central planning teams on capacity needs and capital needs.
• Analyze and communicate the impacts of tooling purchases, capex, and technology transitions.
• Manage planning databases, scenario ownership, change control, and SharePoint resources to ensure data integrity.
• Monitor capital spending, forecast accuracy, cash flow impacts, and optimization opportunities.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, automated workflows, and analytics solutions to improve planning efficiency and decision-making.
• Lead complex projects while ensuring governance and continuous process improvement.
