We seek a seasoned Business Development Director specializing in the U.S. Defense Sector to join our global team. This role will be based in the U.S., supporting Ericsson's expansion in North America.

Key Responsibilities :

• US Innovation Focus : Collaborate with US teams to innovate within the Defense sector's mobile communications ecosystem, aligning with Ericsson's goals and DoD's FutureG plans.
• Strategic Initiatives : Lead the execution of initiatives to remove barriers, strengthen partnerships, and drive innovation in US Defense mobile communications.
• Market Engagement : Engage with senior industry leaders to position Ericsson as a leader in MCN innovation and participate in industry forums.
• Cross-Functional Coordination : Manage and mentor teams working on market and business development programs in defense.
• Performance Oversight : Track and document initiatives to ensure measurable results aligning with strategic goals.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Deep understanding of the critical communications market, including industry dynamics, regulations, and ecosystems.
• At least 10 years of experience in defense market business development, procurement, or critical communications.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and leadership skills with a proven track record in the US Defense sector.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in diverse, multinational environments.
