Job summary

Sol de Janeiro is seeking a Senior Leader to drive global innovation strategy and commercialization for Body Care. You will shape the portfolio, translate consumer trends into breakthrough products, and build a roadmap for category leadership.

This role collaborates with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver growth and strong financial performance. You will manage a high-performing team, influence across Product Development, Supply Chain, Packaging, Regulatory, and Consumer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in global marketing within beauty or CPG.
• Experience in Skincare, Hair Care, and/or Body Care strongly preferred.
• Proven track record of developing disruptive, category-defining innovation and leading global innovation programs from concept through commercialization.
• Strong blend of strategic thinking, creativity, analytical capability, and financial acumen, including forecasting, COGS, and margin management.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with external orientation, identifying growth opportunities to drive innovation.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and leading in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative leader with experience influencing cross-functional teams and managing direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead global innovation strategy and commercialization for key Body Care categories and future opportunities.
• Own the long-term category vision and 3-year innovation roadmap.
• Drive innovation development from insight generation through commercialization.
• Align cross-functionally with Product Development, Supply Chain, Packaging, Creative, Regulatory, Consumer Engagement, and regional teams.
• Partner with senior leadership to shape category strategies and whitespace opportunities.
• Oversee category P&L inputs, including cost and margin targets.
• Analyze category performance, trends, and consumer insights to inform decisions.
• Manage and develop direct report(s).
