Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Head of Global Product Supply to lead the transition from clinical-stage supply to a fully externalized, globally enabled manufacturing and supply network. You will own plans for late‑phase clinical supply and oversee externalized manufacturing, shipping, labeling, packaging, and storage.

The role demands 20+ years in biotech manufacturing and supply chain leadership, biologics and commercial launch experience, and a proven ability to build and lead teams,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• Commercial launch experience required; biologics experience.
• 20+ years in manufacturing and supply chain leadership (biotech/start-up preferred); rare disease preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, agility, and problem solving skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement transition from clinical-stage to externalized global manufacturing and supply.
• Oversee externalized manufacturing and supply chain for ERSODETUG: submissions, approvals, launches, and global supply.
• Own Plan of Record for late-stage clinical supply supporting two Phase 3 pivotal global studies.
• Provide leadership to meet program milestones and ensure manufacturing and supply of drug substances/products.
• Improve manufacturing and supply reliability and rebuild clinical supply chain.
• Accountable for externalized manufacturing, shipping, distribution, labeling, packaging, and storage; ensure Right First Time, On Time In Full.
• Develop global ERSODETUG supply strategy and mitigate supply risks.
• Maintain robust manufacturing, inventory management, and supply systems; lead deviation investigations with QA/MSAT.
• Partner to establish and sustain S&OP (supply/demand models, COGs, spend).
• Build/lead team and support regulatory compliance and drug release.
• Oversee specifications alignment, manufacturing/scale-up problem solving, vendor relationships, and negotiation of manufacturing agreements.
