Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a BIM Librarian to join the Data Center Design Services team. This role focuses on managing BIM files, maintenance manuals, and other documents across AWS DC portfolios worldwide.

You will collaborate with BIM specialists and stakeholders to ensure data resources are accurate, organized, and accessible for ongoing operations and future projects. The position requires coordinating across teams including BIM, construction, design, and operations, and delivering

Qualifications

• Experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities.
• Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams and standard operating procedures.
• Experience in a data center or mission critical facility, or experience in construction or project management.
• Familiarity with engineering documentation standards (e.g., ISO 9001, document numbering systems).

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining a suite of critical lifecycle documents for AWS portfolio assets, including researching missing resources on legacy sites.
• Coordinating with BIM, Construction, Design, Field Engineering, and Operations stakeholders on lifecycle documentation interfaces and use.
• Providing technical support in the Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing fields for customer requests for asset data, including carrying out technical reports, impact assessments, and risk and opportunity statements.
• Developing and executing a quality review program on resources in the Global Library portfolio.
• Leveraging your technical background to develop and maintain an Innovation and Technology Matrix for the AWS Portfolio.
• Developing and contributing to tools, standards, and workflows to enable and integrate Global Library resources with customer needs.
