Job description

AON is seeking a Global Benefits AVP in Irvine, open to candidates on the West Coast. This role requires an advanced consultant with deep technical and consulting expertise, capable of leading projects, client teams, and managing client relationships. The position offers flexibility for virtual work or location anywhere in the Western US.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion with minimal supervision.
  2. Achieve financial targets and contribute to revenue growth through client expansion and cross-selling.
  3. Manage client relationships, including strategic and tactical interactions, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams globally.
  4. Participate in intellectual capital development, training, and mentoring junior team members.
  5. Conduct consulting assignments such as benefit audits, benchmarking, M&A, multinational pooling, governance, risk management, and global DC consulting.
  6. Lead client meetings, present results, and engage in strategic and financial discussions.
  7. Ensure quality delivery of all consulting outputs and manage project budgets and timelines.

Qualifications:

  1. 6-8+ years of relevant experience with advanced technical and consulting skills.
  2. Strong client interaction, sales, and marketing capabilities.
  3. Ability to develop new business and expand existing accounts.
  4. Continuous learning through industry updates, training, and relevant courses.
