Job summary

Back Market in Paris, France is offering a 6-month Business Development Internship focused on onboarding Asian sellers and expanding product selection on our global marketplace.

You will work closely with internal teams to support new sellers, ensure quality and robust onboarding, and help sellers scale their business while delivering an excellent e-commerce experience for customers on Back Market.

Qualifications

• 6-month internship
• Fluent in English and Mandarin
• Strong time management and ownership
• Detail-oriented and active listener
• Excellent organization and communication
• Analytical mindset with data-driven decisions
• Independent with self-motivation
• Experience in e-commerce or SMBs is a plus
• Content creation or live broadcasting experience is a plus
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-growing startup
• Salesforce/SQL/Tableau experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Qualify and onboard new sellers to Back Market’s selection growth
• Manage newly activated sellers with a hybrid 1:1/account management and pooled coverage to improve GMV & Quality
• Partner with internal teams (quality, logistics, finance, legal) to support new sellers
• Identify top sellers on competitors’ platforms to expand global supply
• Develop BD content library and lead education webinars for sellers
