Job summary

Dayton Group Inc. (DGI) is seeking a full-time Building Automation Systems (BAS) Specialist to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and upgrade BAS at client sites across the U.S. and overseas.

The role requires frequent travel and the ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance; proximity to a major international airport is preferred. The candidate should have 3+ years' BAS experience, manufacturer training/certifications, and strong skills in DDC programming, electrical/mechanical drawings, and

Qualifications

• 3+ years in start-up, point-to-point checkout, maintenance and commissioning of BAS (DDC) across commercial buildings.
• Manufacturer trainings/certifications in BAS systems preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting of DDC programs and HVAC controls.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and upgrade BAS at client sites in the US and overseas per company procedures and contracts.
• Frequent overseas travel for preventive maintenance, system upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Generate reports of findings and work performed; create field as-builts.
• Take inventory of existing systems and advise on procurement and repairs.
• Must be physically able to climb ladders and use tools on ladders; lift up to 50 lbs.
• Coordinate with client and on-site contacts.
