Job summary

Clear Destination Inc. in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Building Automation Systems Technician to support BAS/BMS projects and the growth of the Building Automation division. The role emphasizes independent work, system programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC controls and related networks.

You will read drawings, configure controllers, and collaborate with vendors to ensure seamless operation of DDC/BAS environments across commercial facilities.

Qualifications

3+ years of BAS/BMS experience preferred.
Reading electrical and mechanical drawings is required.
Reading electrical and mechanical drawings is required.
Experience with development and troubleshooting of control networks is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support growth of the Building Automation division.
Configure and program BAS/DDC controllers.
Lead system startup and commissioning activities.
Troubleshoot controls and communication issues across BAS networks.
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings for BAS projects.
Wiring, sensors, actuators, VAVs, AHUs and RTUs in field installations.
