Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an International Banking Operations Associate 3 to support Standby Letters of Credit and related trade finance operations. You will partner with relationship managers to ensure accurate, timely processing and compliance across global banking activities.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, ability to handle multiple priorities, and strong communication within a collaborative team environment. Onsite work is required several days per week in multiple locations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five or more years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Process amendments to Standby Letters of Credit, including increases, decreases, and extensions.
• Review financial and legal documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with procedures.
• Support maintenance and automatic-extension processes that require review, approvals, and execution of defined workflows.
• Prioritize incoming requests and manage deadlines while meeting service-level agreements.
• Collaborate with Relationship Managers and internal partners to obtain information and complete transactions.
• Communicate effectively via email, Teams, and occasional phone conversations with stakeholders.
• Research issues, identify solutions, and escalate when necessary.
• Help ensure operational excellence through detail-oriented work and quality service.
