Job summary

V2X in Maryland seeks a Logistics/Material Control Technician to support DoD aviation supply operations. You will handle requisitions, shipping documents, inventory control, and compliance with FAR parts and Navy systems, ensuring accuracy and traceability across IMRL, NMCS/PMCS, and hazardous materials handling.

You will coordinate with vendors and customers, maintain records, perform audits, and follow safety, ESD, and tool control programs.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) CAC
• Experience in Material Control, Property Control, Stock Control, IMRL, and Hazardous Material management
• Proficient in shipping, receiving, issuing parts and tools, stocking components and coordinating disposal of hazmat/waste
• Knowledge of FAR Part 45 and 52 as it applies to responsibilities
• Strong English literacy and ability to communicate clearly with vendors and customers

Responsibilities

• Expedite urgent aviation material and supply requirements.
• Create requisitions and monitor until receipt.
• Prepare and maintain forms, records, and reports.
• Receive parts and inspect for damage and paperwork discrepancies.
• Maintain stock and inventory records for audit trails.
