Amazon's Worldwide Aviation Legal team seeks a Corporate Counsel to advise on regulatory and commercial matters for Amazon Air and Prime Air, supporting certification, compliance, and cross-border operations.

You will draft and negotiate agreements, monitor aviation policy developments, and build scalable legal playbooks while embracing AI tools to improve service delivery. Travel to Seattle or Arlington may be required; a comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience in aviation or related field.
• Juris Doctor degree and bar admission in a U.S. state.
• Experience in aviation regulatory compliance and government regulator engagement.
• Ability to draft, negotiate, and manage complex commercial agreements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal counsel on regulatory, commercial, and operational matters for Amazon Air and Prime Air.
• Advise on aviation regulatory compliance (FAA, TSA, international authorities) and certification needs.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage cross-border commercial agreements.
• Monitor evolving aviation regulations and translate changes into guidance.
• Develop scalable legal frameworks and playbooks to enable rapid business growth with risk management.
• Leverage AI-powered legal tools to improve service delivery.
