Job summary

MOBIS North America’s Technical Center in the USA is seeking a Local Program Manager to lead new automotive programs with Product Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, and Purchasing. You will work with local customers and Mobis teams in Korea to develop and launch programs, ensuring alignment with PMO practices and systems.

The role involves on-site meetings across the USA, Mexico, and Korea, milestones tracking, risk assessment, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve on-time,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Business.
• 7+ years automotive project development experience preferred.
• PMP certification is preferred.
• Korean language a plus.

Responsibilities

• Milestone Tracking: monitor progress and adjust plans to keep milestones on track.
• Stakeholder Management: provide regular updates to stakeholders and ensure alignment.
• Risk Assessment: identify risks early and develop practical countermeasures and plans.
• Quality Control: guide cross-functional teams to apply Mobis best practices and lessons learned.
• Project Management: manage interfaces with functional disciplines and ensure delivery within phase gates.
