Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is seeking a Test Technician for a global leader in industrial automation, to join the Engineering Test Laboratory in New Berlin, WI.

You will support Product Development, Test Engineering, and Certification Teams with hands-on testing and troubleshooting. This 12-month contract-to-hire role offers formative experience on UL/IEC testing, lab instrumentation, and collaboration with design engineers, with a pay range of $39–$41 per hour.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 5+ years of related experience, or Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience performing electrical, electronic, or product validation testing in a laboratory environment.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory instrumentation, electrical circuits, schematics, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Working knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and their operation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and technical documentation/report writing.

Responsibilities

• Support design engineers with prototype assembly, component evaluation, and product verification testing.
• Execute electrical and electronic product testing according to engineering specifications, industry standards, and compliance requirements.
• Perform UL, CSA, and IEC certification testing, analyze results, and prepare detailed technical reports.
• Design, build, troubleshoot, and maintain test setups, fixtures, and laboratory equipment.
• Collect and interpret test data using oscilloscopes, DMMs, power meters, LabVIEW systems, and other laboratory instrumentation.
