Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Project Manager to lead automation projects in a dynamic, global environment. You will oversee teams, develop schedules, and serve as the main customer contact, ensuring scope, time, and budget adherence.

Ideal candidates bring 2–5 years of PM experience in automation or related processes, strong MS Office/ERP skills, and a proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple projects. Travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
• 2-5 years of project management experience.
• Experience managing automation projects (AGVs, conveyors, WMS, etc.).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and ERP systems.
• Strong relationship building, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% (including international).

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall teams and project items for automation projects.
• Develop and manage multiple concurrent project plans; monitor progress daily.
• Interface with the customer as primary contact on projects.
• Identify and manage scope, time, risk, and stakeholders.
• Routinely communicate project status, resource use, and schedule to management and team.
• Monitor and maintain the project’s financial performance.
• Align cross-functional teams to ensure shared goals and resolve priorities.
• Remove obstacles to drive momentum and progress; address communication gaps.
• Drive milestones and deliverables to closure; ensure leadership understands timelines and dependencies.
• Hold status meetings and document project status; submit internal and external reports.
• Identify and implement process improvements; follow up on open issues.
