Job summary

AWL Automation in Spartanburg, SC, is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex automation initiatives from contract handover to final delivery.

You will oversee the full lifecycle, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing budgets, risks and changes to ensure quality and contractual compliance. Travel roughly 25% domestically and internationally, with experience in Microsoft Project and PM methodologies. PMP or Six Sigma certifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of automation experience, with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong leadership, communication and decision-making skills; ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle from contract handover to delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and resources to meet milestones.
• Communicate progress, risks, changes and opportunities with customers and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks; manage scope changes and budgets; ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Support collaboration between US- and Global-based teams and ensure contractual/commercial alignment.
• Utilize PM methodologies and tools; PMP or Six Sigma certifications are a plus.
