Job summary

AbbVie, Allergan Aesthetics Finance is seeking a seasoned finance executive to lead consolidated financial planning, reporting, internal controls and global finance operations. The role manages pricing, procure-to-pay, finance systems, and planning functions while partnering with cross-functional leaders to drive strategic initiatives.

The candidate should have 15+ years of accounting/finance experience, strong leadership, and pharma/consumer goods finance knowledge.

Qualifications

• 15+ years progressive accounting or finance experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Excellent and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivation to grow in a dynamic environment and proven ability to impact senior leadership.
• Experience in leading and motivating a team in a dynamic business environment to deliver results.
• Experience leading the finance organization of a business unit with enterprise leadership.
• Pharma or Consumer Goods Commercial Finance experience and knowledge of the financial planning process.
• Ability to solve business problems through data collection, analysis, and interpretation.
• Experience supporting senior operating management with executive presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close/reporting for Allergan Aesthetics globally per GAAP and corporate/Global requirements.
• Develop reporting, monitor performance, and support contingency plans with clear commentary.
• Coordinate US and pricing audit cycles with audit teams and implement recommendations.
• Drive enhancements of internal controls and ensure compliance with AbbVie policies, SOX and GAAP.
• Lead monthly Governance reviews and present topics to executives.
• Lead planning processes (Plan, LBE, LRP) globally with integration of sales forecasts, pricing, and investment resources.
• Coordinate timelines/targets/financial presentations for all planning needs.
• Ensure accurate, clear financial deliverables for executive review and approval.
• Provide analyses for ad hoc projects to inform strategy.
• Lead Intangible Asset valuation analytics with Brand dynamics insights for decision points.
• Lead Investor Relations reporting for Allergan Aesthetics.
• Oversee US Aesthetics Pricing and Concierge Procure-to-Pay, and global S&O.
• Represent Finance Transformation initiatives and drive system/tool enhancements across the organization.
• Communicate strategic vision, set KPIs and drive cross-functional alignment.
• Build a strong network within Aesthetics and lead a team of ~30 with 8 direct reports.
