Job summary

AbbVie seeks an Asset Strategy Leader to serve as the matrix leader for an asset from discovery to end of life. You will chair the Asset Strategy Team and ensure alignment across five core deliverable areas, partnering with functional chairs to deliver the asset.

This role acts as the enterprise contact for PCM Governance and senior management. Lead cross-functional strategies for product development and commercialization aligned with PCM and TASC, maintain primary responsibility for

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred in a relevant field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in pharma/biotech with drug development/commercialization exposure.
• Strong strategic thinking and cross-functional leadership capabilities.
• Ability to lead teams in a global setting and drive decision-making.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Chairs the Asset Strategy Team and aligns cross-functional deliverables across core subteams.
• Leads development and endorsement of integrated asset strategies for lifecycle management.
• Builds collaborative governance relationships with senior management and external parties.
• Analyzes data to inform Go/No-Go decisions and resource planning.
• Mentors team members and ensures timely, high-quality execution of plans.
