Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Legal Entity Controller within the Asset Management Controller team. You will ensure accuracy and timeliness of books and records, focusing on GL, operating systems, and controls across product lifecycles.

You will collaborate with global accounting and finance teams to improve processes and support business initiatives while managing reporting cycles and regulatory filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3+ years of related experience.
• Ability to analyze, report and explain financial data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries and reconciliations for SEC/regulatory filings.
• Perform pre- and post-close variance analysis and document processes.
• Lead or participate in ad hoc projects.
• Strengthen internal control environments and improve efficiencies.
• Document work thoroughly to withstand audits.
• Coordinate multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines.
• Occasionally work outside normal business hours.
