Job summary

Idera, Inc. is seeking a Global Accounts Receivable Manager to lead collections strategy across a global software portfolio. You will improve cash collections, reduce delinquency, and strengthen end-to-end AR operations while partnering with Billing, Sales, and Legal.

Qualifications

7+ years in accounts receivable, billing, collections, or order-to-cash functions.
3+ years leading collections teams or AR operations in a B2B software environment.
Experience in a software/SaaS or technology company.
Strong end-to-end AR operations knowledge including billing, collections, cash application, credits, reconciliations, and dispute resolution.
Experience with ERP, billing, and CRM platforms; ability to navigate multiple systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day collections operations across a portfolio of domestic and international accounts.
Develop and execute collection strategies to improve cash flow and reduce past-due balances.
Monitor AR aging, delinquency trends, unapplied cash, deductions, and dispute activity; prioritize risk-based collection efforts.
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Billing, Revenue Ops, and Legal to resolve disputes and improve upstream processes.
Serve as escalation point for complex or high-value accounts and drive timely resolutions.
Support accurate invoicing, credits, refunds, amendments, and customer account maintenance per contracts and ERP records.
Establish collection policies, workflows, SOPs, and scalable processes across business units.
Produce recurring and ad hoc AR reporting and KPI metrics for leadership.
Develop AR team through hiring, coaching, and performance management.
Identify opportunities to automate and apply AI-enabled tools to strengthen decision-making and productivity.
Support credit risk assessment and credit limit recommendations in partnership with Sales and Finance.
Assist monthly and quarterly close activities related to AR, reserves, and reconciliations.
