Job summary

KLA Milpitas is seeking an Applications Engineering Manager to lead NPI, product validation, and customer engagements. You will guide documentation, BKMs, and training while coordinating with Sales, Marketing, and Field Applications to drive adoption and success across regions.

The role requires 8+ years in the semiconductor field, strong leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills. A strong focus on customer success and strategic input will shape future product roadmaps.

Qualifications

• MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in the semiconductor equipment industry or related process technologies.
• Proven experience leading Applications Engineering, Product Applications, Field Applications, or related teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and Product Validation, including alpha and beta testing and documentation.
• Drive customer engagement and product demonstrations with Sales, Marketing, and Field Apps teams.
• Manage technical escalations and ensure timely resolutions with cross-functional collaboration.
• Influence product strategy and capability development through customer feedback and benchmarking.
• Develop global Applications Capabilities through training programs, BKMs, and knowledge sharing.
• Build and develop a high-performing Applications Engineering team with accountability and continuous improvement.
