Job summary

Sony Pictures Entertainment, Inc. is looking for a detail-oriented anti-piracy specialist to support SPE’s global content protection operations. You will manage titles, coordinate with vendors, and monitor coverage and billing.

You will act as the initial reviewer for infringements, coordinate with partners, and track release schedules to mitigate risk. Strong analysis and collaboration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Familiarity with social media outlets (e.g., Facebook, Twitter/X, TikTok) and user-generated content platforms (e.g., YouTube, DailyMotion).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly collaborative and eager to learn from team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively cross functionally, with business partners, and with various outside points of contact.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Manages day-to-day support of SPE’s global content protection / anti-piracy operations, including title management, service commencements with vendors, tracking coverage, and billing.
• Enforces on infringement of SPE content and serves as initial point of review and action, activates rights and policies for fingerprinting initiatives, and coordinates with partners and vendors.
• Serves as point of contact for leak notification and referrals of suspected piracy incidents.
• Tracks global release schedules for SPE content to coordinate protection efforts and make risk mitigation recommendations.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for technical system enhancements including UGC/Social Media management and SPE’s rights management system.
• Conducts ad hoc reports related to piracy trends and threats.
